Enhanced Emission Regulations Propel Motorcycle Parts Industry Forward
Release Time:
2021-11-11
Since January 1, 2021, the European Union has fully implemented the most stringent Euro 5 emission standards for new motorcycles. This standard not only significantly reduced the emission limits for pollutants such as HC, CO and NOx, but also introduced the monitoring of non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHC) for the first time, and raised the requirements for vehicle diagnostic systems (OBD II).
MODI Perspective:
The implementation of Euro 5 standards represents an inevitable trend for the global motorcycle industry towards greater environmental friendliness and higher efficiency. This presents both challenges and opportunities for our component manufacturers. It not only requires upgrades to engines and electronic injection systems, but also introduces new challenges for the lightweighting of the entire vehicle and the aerodynamic efficiency. Mordi Motorcycles has anticipated this trend and, in our product development, we have focused on using lighter and more durable environmentally friendly materials. Through optimizing mold designs, we ensure that our plastic parts can seamlessly match the new models that comply with Euro 5 standards, helping our vehicle manufacturers clients successfully pass the certification process and gain access to the European market.
